I was so excited to make Charlotte’s Easter dress. It took about half a day to make the dress. It sure takes a lot of courage to cut into $20/yd fabric. Wow, am I glad I didn’t mess up. But this is the end result. I love this dress because I feel like there’s a bit of Charlotte in it. She’s the one who painted the flower originally. You can read more about that here. She is for sure my daughter! I came up with the original design for the dress. I saw a dress with the opening on the side by the sleeve and thought that would be cute. So I added one of these adorable bows to the side.

Tell me what you think? I can’t wait to make a bag with the extra orange striped fabric. I even saw an email ad yesterday from Nordstrom Rack featuring an orange striped bag. I knew I was spot on that striped trend. So fun!

So beautiful! I can’t wait to see it on her.
